Jessie 'Dale' 'Buck-Wheat' SIMPSON

SIMPSON, Jessie "Dale" "Buck-Wheat" - Age 61, of Grand Blanc, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township, with Dr. James Grotts officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Jessie D. Simpson Memorial Fund. Dale was born September 10, 1948 in Weiner, AR to the late Charley Edward and Mary Ellen (Speaks) Simpson. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1966. He owned Grand Blanc R.V., LLC from 1986 until September 2009. He loved hunting with his two sons and camping with his family and friends. Dale is survived by his wife, Bonnie Mae (Snyder) Woolard, whom he married in 1979; two sons, Michael Dale (Dina) Simpson and Christopher John (Brandi) Simpson; step-son, William Michael Woolard; step-daughter, Valerie Kaye Woolard; sisters, Lou Ellen (Jim) Grotts of Dallas, TX, Charise Moore of Greenfield, IN and Aline (Don) Barnes of Hale, MI; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
