BOYER, Jewel J. - Age 76, of Flint, died Monday, May 28, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Friday, June 1 at Living Word Church of God, 6325 Calkins Road, Flint. Pastor Tim McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service Friday at the church. Jewel was born September 22, 1941 in White Oak, MO the daughter of Jessie and Grace (Franklin) Johnson. She was married Kenneth E. Peel Sr. in Flint. Jewel was employed as a waitress all of her life. She loved animals and enjoyed watching crime shows, cooking, and eating. Most of all, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: children, Kenneth (Angela) Peel, Jr., Jackie (Mark) Donahue, and Rodney (Starr) Peel and their children; grandchildren, Kenny Peel III, Heather Marie (David) House, Michael Kenneth (Amanda) Peel, Jacob Peel, Bryan McCree II; great grandchildren, Charlie and Alex; sisters, Judy Spadafore and Deborah Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
