Jill Joanne Hawk

HAWK, Jill Joanne - Age 82, of Linden, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jill's name.

Jill was born February 22, 1943 in Flint, the daughter of James and Ialine (Gardner) Smith. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Agnes Catholic High School in Flint. She married Dennis George Hawk August 17, 1963 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Flint. She managed the Deli at Alpine Food Center in Linden after 9 years of service. Jill enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her husband of 61 years, Dennis; sons, Tyler Hawk of Clarkston, Christopher (Terri) Hawk of Flushing and Shannon (Crystal) Hawk of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Jared, Jennifer, Justin (Sara), Trevor, Alexis, Taylor, Zachery, Jordyn and Joshua; great grandchildren, Colt, Cooper and Cohen; sisters, Pamela Sinkler of Swartz Creek and Kathryn Stone of Gaines; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ialine Smith; and her brothers, James Smith, Jr., Raymond "Bucky" Smith and Scott Cable. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
