Jill Ann Jarrett

JARRETT, Jill Ann - Age 77, of Linden, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Jill was born October 16, 1948 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Lynn and Bertha (Lanham) Simpson. She was a 1965 graduate of Normal Community High School, Normal, IL, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Physiology from Eastern Michigan University. She married James Lee Jarrett on November 1, 1968 in Bloomington, IL.

Jill resided in Linden for the past 10 years, having previously lived in Brighton for over 20 years. She retired from Brighton Physical Therapy in Brighton. She was a certified ski instructor and ran the Mt. Brighton ski school for many years; she also was an aerobics instructor. She enjoyed lakes and oceans (especially in Charleston, SC) and playing softball.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Bertha Simpson.

She is survived by her husband, James; son, Bruce (Molly Brown) Jarrett of Hartland; daughter, Heather Jarrett of Ortonville; grandson, Ian Jarrett of Holly; siblings, Jeff (Sandy) Simpson of Bloomington, IL, Jean (DuWayne) Manaham of Bloomington, IL, John Simpson of Bloomington, IL, Joel (Rhonda Reynolds) Simpson of Florida, and Joy-Janine (Fred) Dicken of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
