MORRISON, Jim F. -- Age 72, of Flint, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Please join us to celebrate the life of Jim Morrison at 1PM Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation for the immediate family will take place from 1-2PM, with the public visitation following from 2-8PM Wednesday, and from 12PM until time of service. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Mr. Morrison was born September 2, 1941 in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Jesse and Ardist (King) Morrison. Jim was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting. Jim was a jokester, and was always smiling. He was constantly laughing and kidding around making sure everyone was having a great time. Mr. Morrison was a Veteran in the U.S. Army and retired in 1997 from G. M. Fisher Body. Jim took pride in his family and was such a loving, caring man. He would reach out to anyone. Surviving are; children Brooke Morrison of Mt. Morris, David, Jeff, and Deena Morrison all of Flint; several grandchildren and fiance' Luann Miller.
