Jimmie Allison

ALLISON, Jimmie Jack - Age 79, of Flint, died Friday, August 8, 2014. A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. Those desiring may contributions to the American Cancer Society. Jimmie was born May 12, 1935 the son of William Ray and Wilma Lois (Bottoms) Allison. He was a 1953 graduate of Flint Central High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Franchi Beer Distributor. Jimmie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, garage sales, telling story, and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving are: sister, Wanda Willey of Davison; nieces, Joan and husband Carl Snyder of Otisville and Carol Kline of Eaton Rapids; nephew, Joseph and wife Cindy Willey of Davison; former wife, Joan Allison of Grand Blanc; special friend, Janice Powers of Saginaw; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
