Jimmy Wayne Dollar Sr., of Clio, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2026. He was 70 years old.
Born December 18, 1955, in Lepanto, Arkansas, he was the son of John Mack and Minne Bell (Steakley) Dollar. On September 27, 1975, he married Linda Joyce Hisaw in Flint and together they spent an amazing 50 years together raising a family and enjoying time spent together. Jimmy was a master mechanic and retired from the City of Flint. He loved hunting, fishing and bowling. Jimmy was a member of the Crossroads Temple Church of God and was a song leader, he was very strong in his faith and loved his church community. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family and the memories they made together.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Linda Dollar, one son Jimmy Dollar Jr., one daughter Michelle Lynn Dollar; one brother Walter “Duck” Williamson, one sister Edith Earlene Barrett; several nieces and nephews; as well as his special buddies Buster and Rose, his beloved Boxers and his cat Brady.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Betty Milam and two brothers Bill Williamson and Johnny Dollar.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, June 22, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor Dan Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 3:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
