Jimmy Darrell Scarberry

Scarberry, Jimmy Darrell - Age 73, of Fenton, passed away October 29, 2026.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan. 

Darrell was born on October 18, 1953, in Paw Paw, Kentucky, the son of Clifford and Helen (Conn) Scarberry. He was a 1972 graduate of Fenton High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Darrell worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years before retiring.

A true music lover, Darrell appreciated every genre and always had a new song he couldn't wait to share. When he wasn't working, you could usually find him at the theater; he was a passionate movie enthusiast who never missed a major premiere. From head to toe, Darrell was a modern-day cowboy---making every single occasion the perfect excuse to wear his cowboy boots. He will be remembered most for his kind soul. He never met anyone he wouldn't help.

Surviving are: five siblings, David (Donna) Scarberry of McKee, Kentucky, Clifford (Margaret) Scarberry of Fenton, Kenneth (Debbie) Scarberry of London, Kentucky, Timothy

(Tristan) Scarberry of Fenton, Dana (Brad) Jones of Fenton; nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Jamie, Ashley, Sarah, Baylee, Logan, Hannah, and Sophia; several grand nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Helen Scarberry.
