Joe Dale WHITE

WHITE, Joe Dale -- Age 78, of Mt. Morris, died May 22, 2012 at Brians House Hospice. Funeral Services 11 AM Friday, May 25 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Interment in Thetford Township Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, and 10 AM until service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Joe White Memorial Fund. Joe was born July 23, 1933 in Maysel, WV, the son of William Harley White and Mamie Susan (Morris) White. He had resided in Mt. Morris the past five years coming from Flint. He had worked for Simplicity Engineering in Durand for 19 years. Joe cut fireplace wood all of his life, he supplied wood for many subdivisions in Flint. Surviving are: companion of 39 years, Ruth Foster; eight children, Glenda Miller, Larry White, Sherry Dame, Tammy White, Janet White, RodneyWhite, Randy White, Kari Foster; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Gertrude, Maxine, Ernest, Mae. He was preceded in death by son Roger White; and daughter Theresa Martinez.
