BELCHICK, Joel David Sr. - Age 79, of Flint, died Saturday August 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to charity of one's choice. Joel was born June 21, 1937 in Flint, the son of the late Joseph and Viola (McDade) Belchick. He married Claudine Sullivan in Holly on April 16, 1980. He worked at Banner Linen Service as a manager for 17 years and route supervisor for Central Quality Linen Service for 1.5 years. Joel enjoyed golfing and fishing. Surviving are: children, Debbie Zimmerman of Washington, MI, Joel Belchick Jr. of Grand Blanc, Robert (Elaine) Belchick of Grand Blanc, Barbara (Dennis Shufelt) Brown of Flint, Brian Belchick of Burton; step-daughters, Mary Capistrant and Cindy Renfrow; many grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Gerald Belchick of NY, Bonnie Belchick of FL, Alice Zendte of FL, Donna (Chuck) Backhus of FL, Jeannie (Don) Dregger of FL, Linda (Alvin) Carlson of Alger, James Belchick of Flint, Kathy (Dick) Eaton of FL, David (Barb) Biga of MI.
