John H. BASSHAM Sr.

BASSHAM Sr., John H. age 66, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Burton, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Florida. A gathering of friends and family will be Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6-8PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Formal funeral services were previously held in Florida on March 8, 2013 with burial at Barrancas National Cemetery, Florida. Mr. Bassham was born in Moko, Arkansas. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed for 31 years by General Motors, Metal Fab as a pipefitter, until his retirement. John was a faithful Christian man, who served the Lord in his daily life. In his free time, John loved trout fishing. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sharon; children, Chris (Thomas) and her children, Jillian, Elias and Kenlee, Hank (Cathy) and his children, Rachel, Becca and Catie, and Erin (Aaron) and her children Abram and Ivy; brothers, Lonnie, Ron and Jimmy; and many loving family members and friends.
