Carey, John "Jack"- Age 72, of Burton, died Friday, August 18, 2017. The family will receive friends from 12-4 PM Saturday, September 9, 2017 with a service beginning at 2PM at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Jack was born on June 8, 1945 in Flint, MI the son of Orval and Violet Carey. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from General Motors in 1999. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Jean; children, Jeffrey (Michelle) Carey, Joshua Carey, Jillian Carey (Patrick Gallaher); six grandchildren, Kaylee, Megan, Emily, Jeffrey Jr., Harper and Bodhi.
