John Andrew Erwin Sr.

John Andrew Erwin Sr., of Durand MI, age 83, died on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at his residence. In accordance with John’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. John was born in Fraziers Bottom, WV, on June 16, 1940, the son of Ernest and Iva (Cain) Erwin. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. John also had a great sense of humor and he would definitely make you laugh. He was a friend to all.

 

Surviving are children, Zona Palmer, John Erwin Jr, Penny Erwin, Aronette Erwin, Jeremy Erwin and Aaron Erwin; grandchildren, Anthony, Sabra, Devon, Tylor, James, Melissa, Donald, Andrea, Walker, Dalton, Piper and Elaina; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Ralph; and sister, violet.

 

John was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; mother, Iva; father, Ernest; grandson, Dane; brothers, Delmore, Aaron, Harvey and Harold; sister, Dorothy; and baby, Gardner.
