John Edward Hart Jr.

John Edward Hart Jr., age 35, of Burton, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at McLaren Flint.

John was born on July 6, 1991, in Crailsheim, Germany. He graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School in 2010. John worked as a machinist for Montague Manufacturing in Clio. A talented artist, John enjoyed participating in the Enchanted Forest Renaissance Festival in Vassar, where he showcased his artistic abilities through painting, blacksmithing, and chainmail making.

John is survived by his mother, Silvia Hart; father, John Hart; stepmother, Karen Majeski; brother, Michael Hart; aunt and uncle, Karin and David Plumb; aunt, Jacci Phelps; cousins, Jessika, Hanna, and Timmy; grandmother, Gertrud Wittkowsky; numerous extended family; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Günter Wittkowsky, and grandmother, Shirley Hart.
