John L. McIlroy

McIlroy, John Leman Jr. - Age 59, of Flint, passed away January 25, 2024 surrounded by his family at his home. Funeral service will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Father Roy Horning officiating. John was born in California having moved to Flint as a small child, he always wanted to return to the golden state. He was an experienced truck driver with the love of the open road. You could always find him admiring cars, especially corvettes. John is survived by his children, Jennifer (Mike) Pastor, Brooke McIlroy Ramsey (Cameron), Kimberly Gray (Marty), Nicole Solis (Anthony), Bridgette McIlroy, Bre McIlroy, Sunni McIlroy, Selene McIlroy; he was a proud papa to Lilith, Zoey, Hazel, Wolfie, Zaiden, Theodore; he is also survived by his sisters, Rebecca McIlroy Smithee, Jodie Dixon (Brian); nieces, Felicia, Tiffany, and Hally; longtime girlfriend, Diane Burroughs.
