John Parry

PARRY, John Densmore - Age 76, of Flint, died Monday, January 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Saturday January 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Jeffrey Walsh officiating. Visitation will be held 11 Am until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. John was born June 24, 1940 in Flint, the son of Jack and Ethel (Adelyne) Parry. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He retired a Sergeant from the City of Flint Police Department after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flint. He also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #126 and the Michigan Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. Surviving are: children, Michele (Kevin) Oles of Swartz Creek, Janeen (William) Noecker of Kewadin, and Brian Parry of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Nathan, Drexel, Benjamin, and Adrian; sister, Patricia (Douglas) Solak of Florida; and nieces and nephews.
