Johnie Sweetin Jr.

SWEETIN, Johnie Arthur Jr. -- Age 64, of Gaines, died November 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held 10AM Tuesday November 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Monday, and 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or St Jude Children's Research Fund. Johnie was born July 11, 1952 in Herron IL the son of Johnie Arthur Sweetin and Wilma Marcella (Hoover) Sweetin. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School in 1970. He married Sheila Joy Partin on August 27, 1971 in Fenton. He was employed at GM Truck and Bus as an assembler retiring in 2003 with 35 years of service. He was member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife Sheila Sweetin of Gaines; daughters, Jodie (Steve) Andrew of Flint Township, Jamie (Alan) Johnston of Grand Blanc, Joy Sweetin (Jeff Flint) of Birch Run; 7 grandchildren, A.J., Courtney, Abigail;, Charlie, Sophia, Brooklyn, Hope; sister, Jill (Mark) Cooper of Sandusky, OH.
