November 4, 1989 — August 6, 2013

PARKER, Jon Leslie - age 23, of Vernon, MI and Sheboygan, WI, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Fr. Gene Geromel officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society. Jon was born November 4, 1989 in Flint, the son of David and Kathryn (Case) Parker. He was a 2008 graduate of Corunna High School where he was a member of BPA and the National Honor Society. He also tied for fourth in his class. Jon was a 2013 graduate of Michigan Technical University. He enjoyed photography and radio controlled cars. Surviving are: parents, David and Kathryn Parker of Vernon; brother, MIchael Parker of Vernon; grandmothers, Judith Parker of Owosso and Anna Ruth Dotson of Dayton, TN; two aunts, Andrea Parker of Durand and Karen (Todd) Heft of OH; cousin, Parker Heft; great uncles, Richard (Kathy) Kozan of Owosso and Larry Meehlee of Gladwin. His grandfather, David Owen Parker preceded him in death in 2011. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
