Jonathon M. Robison, of Fenton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 61.

Born September 14, 1964, in Ithaca, NY, he was the son of James William Robison and Judith Elaine (Coffman) Smeckert. Jonathon joined the military in 1983, trained as an electrician and proudly served on the USS Baltimore, a nuclear-powered submarine until 1992. On March 8, 1999, he married his high school sweetheart, Tammy, creating a blended family that was completed with the addition of a son, Callan, in 2001.

Jonathon was a graduate of Excelsior University in Albany, New York. He worked in refueling nuclear reactors, web design, programing and was currently employed by Ford Motor Company, as a cybersecurity specialist, where he had worked for many years among great friends. An avid bicyclist, he enjoyed woodworking, reading, and spending time with his family, friends, and pets.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammy M. Robison; five children, Samantha Morrison, Nicholas Robison, Donovan Flannery, Kaitlin Garske, and Callan Robison; a half-brother, James Robison; five grandchildren; his mother, Judith Smeckert; his father, James Robison, stepmother, Dorothy; and his mother-in-law, Constance McGowan.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ted Smeckert, and his father-in-law, Kenneth McGowan.

Cremation has been held. Entombment will take place on Monday April 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, where military honors will take place.
