Joseph Delarosa Sr.

DeLaROSA Sr., Joseph -- Age 74, of Montrose, died August 28, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 W Coldwater Rd, Flint. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 2-8PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint and from 10-11AM Tuesday at the church. A rosary will be prayed at 7PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Ronald McDonald House or Old Newsboys of Flint. Joseph was born September 18, 1940 the son of Sirildo and Domitila (Dominguez) DeLaRosa in Munger, MI. He married Annie Garza on March 3, 1962 and she preceded him in death December 30, 2014. Joseph retired from General Motors' Buick Motor Division. He enjoyed sports and spending time with his family. Surviving are: children; Joanne (Gary) Fejedelem of Montrose, Delores (Rob) Williams of Clio, Bertha DeLaRosa of Montrose, Joseph (Deborah) DeLaRosa Jr. of Clio, Teresa (James) Suttle of Montrose, Consuelo DeLaRosa of Montrose, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his wife Annie, his parents; daughter Mary Christine DeLaRosa-Taylor, and granddaughter Angela. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
