Joseph Ray HARTLEY Sr.

Hartley, Joseph Ray Sr. - Age 55 , of Burton, died Friday May 17, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday May 21, 2013, at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 1PM - 8PM Monday. Joseph was born in Flint, the son of Jimme C. and Martha A. (Sauder) Hartley. Joe was a Bendle High School graduate. He married Barbara Frost August 29, 1981 in Flint. He worked for general Motors on the line and also as a welder retiring with 30 years of service. Joe enjoyed life and was very active, he loved picnics at Silver Lake, camping, gardening, playing pool, hunting, playing poker stars on the computer, fishing and playing cards with his family and friends. Joe spend alot of time playing with his grandchildren. Surviving are: his wife of 31 years Barbara Ann Hartley; children, Joseph Ray Hartley Jr., Amanda (Hartley) Bedore, Paula Person, Audrey Pardee; grandchildren; Shawn, Brandon, Kaylee, Alyssa, Marissa, Marcus, Raven, Abel, Aubrey; Brother Jimme Hartley; sisters, Peggy (David) Schabel. Laura Mahon, Victoria Hartley, , Sabrina Counce, Jean-nette Hartley; step-mother, Shirley Hartley; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Larry and Chris Fraiser, Tim, Earl, Mark, Bill and Paul.
