Joseph was born January 18, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of John and Dorothy (Pichler) Marcus. He is survived by his brother, Jim (Maureen) Marcus of Oxford; sisters, Bonnie (Greg) Miller of Torch Lake, and Judy (Phill) Zorza of Berkley; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
