Joseph E. Morissette, Jr.

MORISSETTE, Joseph E., Jr. - age 81, of Flint, died April 9, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor Ernesto Alaniz officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Joseph was born March 21, 1943 in Flint, the son of Joseph E. and Geraldine (Hale) Morissette. He married Henrietta Hoskey in 1962. Joseph retired from General Motors Institute where he was a custodian. Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are: wife, Henrietta; two children, Christine Gorski and Joseph E. Morissette III and wife, Patty Coons; grandchildren, Michael Gorski, Heather, Nicole, Crystal and Joey Morissette; sister, Jody Ricarrdi, step-brother, Douglas Kingsbury; and half-brother, Dan Bare.
