Joseph Sobosky

Sobosky, Joseph - Age 92, of Burton, passed away September 6, 2026.

Services will be held 11 AM Friday September 11, 2026 at the Chapel at White Chapel Cemetery, 621 W. Long Lake Rd., Troy, Michigan, 48098. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48507. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.  

Joseph was born October 16, 1933 in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, the son of Andrew Sobosky and Mary (Gyebrovszki) Sobosky. He was graduate of Pershing High School in Detroit. He married Jean Marie Doty on October 23, 1954 in Detroit; she preceded him in death October 1, 2021.

Surviving are: children, Dana (Gary) Hoye of Berkley, Michigan, Lisa (David) Heck Hudson of Burton, Gregory Sobosky of Burton; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister Joan Soucey; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son David Sobosky; and siblings, Andrew, George, John, Paul, Mary, Michael.
