Josephine Anna BASSO

BASSO, Josephine Anna -- Age 97, of Flint, died July 29, 2012 at her residence. Services will be 1 PM Friday, August 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Oakhill Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be from 12:30 until the time of service Friday. Josephine was born March 8, 1915 in Owosso the daughter of John and Anna (Dvorak) Bradac. She was a graduate of Owosso High School. She married Peter Basso in 1937 in Owosso; he preceded her in death in 1978. She had resided in Flint all of her life. Surviving are: son Thomas J. Basso of Flint; grandson Chad T. and wife Jody Basso of Flint; one great-granddaughter; two sisters Marie Zonek and Valerie Tedham. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Henry and John Bradac; three sisters, Elizabeth Johnson, Cary Bradac, Auga Bradac.
