Joshua Leroy Butler

Butler, Joshua Leroy - Age 41, of Flint, passed away March 25, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Center Point Church, 1225 S. Center Rd., Burton, MI 48509. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Thursday. Joshua was born on January 11, 1985, in Flint, Michigan. He married Kristi M. Fanchier on January 27, 2007. Joshua was a strong Christian man who lived his faith through both word and action. He owned and operated a window cleaning company and took great pride in his work, giving his fullest effort and attention to detail in everything he did. Joshua was deeply family-oriented and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking in the mountains near his home in Idaho. He was a natural leader who led by example, a fighter who faced life with strength and determination, and a man who poured himself wholeheartedly into all he did. His servant’s heart was evident in his missionary work in Kenya, pouring into his youth group, as a mentor and on the streets of Flint, Michigan through Adopt-a-Block. Surviving are: wife, Kristi Butler; four children, Gabriel, Josiah, Kamara, and Julianna; mother, Pamela (Robert) Dixon; four siblings, Frankie (Rachel) Butler, Jr., Lori Cook, Thomas (Jennifer) Duby, and Andrea (Joseph) Potter; father-in-law, Robert Fanchier; sister-in-law, Karen (Mark) Albright; many nieces and nephews.
