Joy Ann McKay

McKay, Joy Ann - Age 88, of Mundy Township, died July 17, 2025. Arrangements have been handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.

Joy was born October 27, 1936 in McLean, Illinois, the daughter of David and Elsie (Taylor) Snow. She married Robert B. Mckay on September 18, 1965. Joy enjoyed cooking and sewing. She volunteered at Genesee Christian School preparing meals for the students and volunteered preparing meals at Bethany Baptist Church. She served on the Board of Directors for the Crisis Pregnancy Center. She enjoyed catering events such as wedding and graduation parties for family and friends.

Surviving are: husband of 60 years Robert McKay; daughter Elizabeth (Dimitrios) Batsios; son Brian (Danielle) McKay; grandchildren, Joslyn Gibson, Alexander Batsios, Ian Batsios, Reagan Fechter, and Eleni Batsios; and two great-granddaughters, Effie and Chloe Batsios.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jeffrey Kirkland; and daughter Amy Fechter.
