Joyce Ann Rodgers

RODGERS, Joyce Ann - age 84, of Lennon, died April 24, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor Gerald Woodruff officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Joyce was born October 31, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of John J. and Barbara Josephine (McManus) Lee. She married Richard Dale Rodgers on February 1, 1958 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2021. Joyce enjoyed sewing, quilting cooking, genealogy and spending time with family. She was a kind soul and would do anything to help anyone, even if they didn't ask. Joyce will be dearly missed by: three daughters, Bonnie (Bill) Camp, Anita (Dave) Goulet, and Dianna (Neil) Bindschatel; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fran Morse and Pat Campbell; many nieces and nephews. She also preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Delbert, Fred, Mike and Paul. The family wished to extend a special thank you to the Staff of Absolute Hospice of Grand Blanc, especially Cindy and Pat for their loving care to Joyce.
