McNEECE, Joyce Elizabeth - Age 74, of Fenton, formerly of Novi, passed away April 10, 2024. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Final Resting Place, Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial Contributions in Joyce's memory would be appreciated to McLaren Hospice and Home Care or The Alzheimer's Association.

Joyce was born December 31, 1949 in Detroit, the daughter of Richard John and Doris Betty (Gray) O'Donohue. She married James Lee Asher in Farmington August 12, 1994. Joyce was a 1968 graduate of Ladywood High School in Livonia. She was employed as a Postal Clerk at the Novi Post Office for many years.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Kelly (C.J.) Sheibels; grandchildren, Trent and Avery Sheibels; stepsons, Dennis and David Asher; siblings, Marilyn Bolton, Ruth (Tom) Bordine, Arthur O'Donohue, Amy (Dennis) Finkbeiner, Dan (Carol) O'Donohue and Jon (Annette) O'Donohue; numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband James Lee Asher who passed away on January 24, 2018. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
