PERO, Joyce Marie (Wooten) - Age 84, of Flushing, died Monday, July 15, 2013. Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday July 24, 2013 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 711 S. Saginaw St, Flint. The Reverend Barbara Cavin officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project. Joyce was born November 15, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Herman and Thelma (Zink) Wooten. She had resided in the Flint area her entire life. She taught at Whittier Junior High School in Flint for many years. Surviving are: Brother, Richard Wooten of Grand Blanc. She was preceded in death by her parents.
