Villarreal, Juan Ovidio - Age 75, of Mt. Morris, died October 14, 2024. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday, October 22 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Committal services will be held 1:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly following the visitation on Tuesday October 22. Those desiring may make contributions to a Veteran's organization of one's choice or Alcoholics Anonymous.
Juan was born January 17, 1949 in Agualeguas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the son of Juan Ovidio Villarreal and Olivia Olvera Villarreal. He married Tammy L. Springer on October 14, 2006 in Flushing. Juan was a veteran of The United States Army serving in Vietnam. He retired from General Motors. Juan had a green thumb and loved gardening. He also loved to travel. Juan was very involved with Alcoholics Anonymous and helped a lot of people. He played Santa Claus for many years at family functions, schools and businesses.
Juan is survived by his wife, Tammy; four sons, Juan O. (Susan) Villarreal, Patricio A. Villarreal, Janssen N. Villarreal, and Jerrod C. (Stephanie) Villarreal; step-children, Robin (Mike) Allen, Colleen O'Brien, Kevin (Lee) O'Brien; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Beatriz Yolanda Villarreal (Osvaldo), Maria del Refugio Guerra (Heberto), Rita A.Villarreal (Rolando), Rogelio G.Villarreal (Theresa), Preciliana Requena (Jorge); many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricardo J. Villarreal. The family wishes to express a special thank you to McLaren Hospice.
