Juanita was born on September 30, 1944, in Kentucky. She was one of 13 siblings of the late Oliver & Kittie (Merida) Bargo. She graduated from Knox County Central High School. Juanita married the love of her life and best travel companion, Thomas Edward Bradley in Flint, Michigan on November 29, 1969, and together they were blessed with their two children, Melisea and Thomas Jr. Juanita was a long-time employee at Meijer until her retirement in 1998. In retirement Juanita and Thomas enjoyed traveling across the country and made it to every state except Oregon. They traveled by RV on most occasions or flew to states like Hawaii and Alaska. They enjoyed spending time together at their property Up North and during the cold winters liked to visit Florida. Juanita loved finding treasures when she went antiquing, cooking for her family, painting on canvas in her later years and enjoyed a game of Bingo. Above all she will be missed dearly by her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas "Tom" E. Bradley; daughter, Melisea (Scott) Bolt; son, Thomas Jr. (Marlene) Bradley; three grandchildren, Ashley Bolt, Makenna Bolt and Audrey Bradley; brother, Oliver Bargo Jr; sisters-in-law, Mary Cross, Geraldine Irons, Rosalie Bargo and Sandra Crane and many nieces, nephews and other dear family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 of her siblings.
Juanita's family would like to express their many thanks to the staff of Majestic Care of Flushing; especially the activity coordinator, Gabby and Jenny Lau of Heart To Heart Hospice. Juanita was well cared for by all of you and it gave us such peace of mind.
