Judith Lafuente

LAFUENTE, Judith A. - Age 69, of Swartz Creek formerly of Burton, died, Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 1-4 PM and 5-8 PM Saturday and 4-8 PM Monday. No visitation will be held on Sunday. The family will also receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Autism Speaks. Judith was born February 22, 1947 in Detroit, the daughter of Donald Minnick and Helen Krug. She married Jose Lafuente on September 16, 1967 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2013. Judith is survived by her daughter, Joann (Scott) Allen of Swartz Creek; sons, Steve Lafuente of Davison and Joe (Christa) Lafuente of Clio; eight grandchildren, Alexis, Alex, Travis, Chase, Jared, Brittni Trevor, Cassandra and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Bill Kovacs.
