Judith Katherine Riedel

Judith Katherine Riedel, age 85, of Flint, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Father Louis Ekka as celebrant with committal service following at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the American Association for Cancer Research, American Heart Association or Genesee County Humane Society.

Judith was born on September 15, 1940 in Saginaw to the late Lester and Gladys (Fous) Snow. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1958 and attended classes through Mott Community College. Judith was a Secretary at Citizens Bank in Flint for 38 years before retiring in 1996. She was united in marriage to Frederick E. Riedel on January 23, 1971 in Flint. Sadly, he preceded her in death on February 13, 2001. Judith was an avid reader and loved books. She truly loved and enjoyed time spent at her residence on the Tittabawassee River.

Surviving are: sister, Patricia and husband John Mullen of Swartz Creek; niece, Michele Landon of Grand Blanc and nephew David Mullen of Burton; step-grandson, Frederick E. Riedel IV; cousins, Marya Lyn Holcombe of CT, Larry Fous of St. Helen, Thomas and wife Kim Fous of SC and Susan Fous of IL. She also leaves many special and very dear friends.
