DeSHANO, June Frances (Clemens) - Age 71, Swartz Creek, died Saturday, November 30, 2013. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Nate Sokol Celebrant. Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek; and 9 AM until the time of mass Wednesday at the church. The rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. June was born May 10, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Eugene and Olive (Green) Clemens. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was very active in her children's activities at school. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. June enjoyed bowling, traveling and homemaking. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; children, April (Vic) Olson of Wilmington, NC., Janet DeShano of Swartz Creek, Roy (Kristine) DeShano of Holly, Joseph DeShano (Leo Toro) of Long Island City, NY; 7 grandchildren; sister, Sandra Hubbard of Davison; brother, Stan (Rachael) Clemens of Indiana; many nieces and nephews.
