LORD, June Marie (Harrison) decided Monday, October lst that it was time to join the bridge game in heaven starting at noon. Our Dad, William J. Lord and brother, Mike welcomed her home with love. Maude, as she was affectionately called, was a renaissance woman who managed to "have it all" long before the term was popular. She was married, working full time and earned a business degree from GMI (Kettering Institute) graduating with honors while raising 3 children with the support and help of Dad. She will be remembered by her family, friends, the St. Ann's Home community (in Grand Rapids) where she resided for the past 3 years, for her dry, witty sense of humor, her generosity, and intelligence not to mention ace poker player and master bridge player. She always had books and crossword puzzles going, loved to sing and dance and travel to Florida where she was infamous for her yellow golf cart "toddy time tours". One of her favorite pastimes when she lived at Perry Creek Estates Grand Blanc was initiating the "the garage sit n visit". She was a fun gal. Mom will be missed by daughter, Constance Lord Wintruba; son, Steve and Maryann Lord, Deborah Lord, Frank and Betty Limban, Frank Wintruba; grandchildren, Dan and Missy Lord, Joshua and Kristin Lord, Joseph and Susan Wintruba, Trent Limban, Tom and Lisa Lord Templin, her adored "my babies" great-grandchildren Gavin, Sierra and Jackson. And of course, and always Bailey. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30PM Saturday, October 6, 2012 Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Fr. Jonathan Perotta officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00PM Saturday until time of service. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to Life Enrichment, St. Ann's Home, 2161 Leonard NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
