Karen June Pavone, of Clarkston and a longtime resident of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was 71 years old.
Karen was born on June 30, 1954, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Gaylon M. and Maida (Lynn) Clubb. She was a longtime member of Valley Church, where her faith and kindness were known to many.
Karen truly loved being with her family and friends. Time spent together meant everything to her. She enjoyed laughing, singing, and having fun, and she brought joy and warmth wherever she went. Karen was generous, caring, and always thinking of others. She often showed her love through small gestures or thoughtful gifts, simply to let someone know she cared.
One of the greatest joys of Karen’s life was being Nan to, Victoria, Rachel, Blake, Dominic, Leah, Sophia, and Liliana. She loved them deeply and treasured every moment she spent with them.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Kara Kalinowski (Andrew); granddaughter, Laina; sister, Tina Lovell (Terry); sister-in-law, Becky Clubb; niece, Jennifer (Danny) Nemer; nephews, Andrew Clubb, Anthony Lovell, Cameron (Sydney) Lovell and Eric (Lisa) Lovell; many great-nieces and great-great- nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaylon and Maida Clubb; her brother, Lynn Clubb; and her sister, Donna Clubb.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Oasis at Clarkston for the love and care they provided Karen.
