Fenton

Karin Margaret Siwicki, 72, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her home on the afternoon of June 28, 2025.

Born on September 30, 1952, in Detroit, MI, to John and Margaret McIntosh, Karin was the third eldest of five children. She lived her life full of love, generosity, and strength. Most of her adult life was spent raising her children in the beauty of Orange County, California, where she developed a deep appreciation for the little things in life. Karin later moved back to Michigan to be closer to her family.

Karin was a devoted mother and honored the memory of her late daughter, Sarah, every day. Sarah, whom she affectionately called her "feather in the wind," inspired Karin’s philosophy of living life to the fullest. She shared this sentiment with everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy. A loving wife, mother and grandmother- Karin enjoyed a good rainy day, music, the changing of the seasons, and she especially loved spending time with family. A loyal friend and colleague, Karin's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karin is survived by her beloved husband of 52+ years, Eugene Siwicki; son, John Siwicki; grandson, John Siwicki; sisters, Linda Getsoian and Cyndi Flach (Ulrich); brother, Donald McIntosh; and her many close cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sarah Siwicki; her mother, Margaret McIntosh; her father, John McIntosh; her brother, Douglas McIntosh; and her brother-in-law, Chris Getsoian.

In honor of Karin’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, where loved ones will gather to enjoy music, food, and share memories of her life.

"Don't weep at my grave, for I am not there, I've a date with a butterfly to dance in the air."
