Karl "Charlie" MILLER

MILLER, Karl "Charlie" - Age 77, of Hartland, formerly of Flint, died Saturday, March 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held 6 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held 3:00 PM until the time of services on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to United Service Organizations (www.uso.org/donate). Charlie was born December 17, 1936 in Flint, the son of Charles and Mary Caroline Miller. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1955. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Genesee County Sheriff Department in May of 1999. He was active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police and the American Legion. Charlie is survived by his son, Kolby Miller of Hartland; daughter, Allison Miller, USAF retired of Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah of Hartland.
