BLOINK, Kathleen Marie --- Age 55, passed away at her home in Swartz Creek surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 1st 2017. A Funeral mass will be Celebrated 11AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Burial to follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Father Louis Ekka officiating. The family would like to invite all whose lives she touched to gather for visitation at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek on Sunday from 3PM-8PM and Monday from 5PM to 9PM and Tuesday at 10AM until time of mass at the church. A rosary will be prayed at 7PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution to Heartbeat of Greater Flint. She was born on May 9th 1962 in Highland Park, Michigan to Gerard and Mary Jean (Probe) Klebba. She graduated from Redford Union High School, class of 1980, and earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Wayne State University in 1984. She married the love of her life, Ray Bloink, on September 6, 1985 and together they had three children. Kathy was known by those close to her for her quick wit, intelligence, and strong faith. She was an active member of St. Mary Queen of Angels parish and her Regnum Christi team. She also worked as a supervisor in the graduate admissions office at University of Michigan, Flint. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing the piano, gardening, sewing and volunteering at church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Ray; children, Emily and husband Andrew, Rachel, and Daniel; mother, Mary Jean; siblings, Gerard, Sue, and Mary; and grandson, Caleb.
