Kathlynn May Conklin

CONKLIN, Kathlynn May - Age 80, of Linden, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026. A service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed below her obituary). Mr. Gary Conklin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Kathlynn May Conklin Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.

Kathlynn was born August 20, 1945 in Harrison Township, the daughter of Gerald V., Sr. and Amma Beth (Murphy) Ray. She attended Linden High School. Kathlynn married Gary Edward Conklin November 6, 1969 in Flint and he preceded her in death March 30, 1998. She had resided in the Fenton area most of her life. Kathlynn had owned and operated Flowers by Kathlynn in Fenton; she had also worked for Johnny's Green House in Fenton. She was a former member of Tyrone Presbyterian Church, Fenton. She enjoyed bowling, crafting, painting, golfing, and being a florist.

Surviving are: her children, Rena Stephens of Flint, Robin Bolling of Fenton, Gary Conklin of Holly and David (Erin) Conklin of Gaines; grandchildren, Heather Stephens, Mackenzi Bolling, Eliana Conklin and Ava Conklin; great grandchildren, David, Dimitrios and Eilah; brother, Gerald "Mickey" (Joan) Ray, Jr. of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
