Kathryn Craig Stark

Kathryn Craig Stark, age 81, of Flint, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. 

Kathryn was born on March 21, 1945, to the late James and Bessie Stark. She earned her master’s degree from Michigan State University and taught high school Spanish for before her retirement. Kathryn was an alumna and avid fan of Michigan State University and the Spartans. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, camping in her camper, traveling the world, and spending time with her beloved cat, Tippy. 

Kathryn will be cherished by her numerous friends whom she considered family, including Marsha Stevens, Wanda Booth, Jim and Doris Knobblock, Linda Pohly, Mary Jo Schultz, Trisha and Shelly Lynch and their children, Isabella and EJ; Tina Hunt; Darla and Bull Arn; Judith Ingram; Larry Dickson; her friend and caregiver, Renee Stallone; Sue Price and family; and the Anderson family. 

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her partner, Delores Oliver.
