Kay Wernig

WERNIG, Kay Kathleen - age 78, of Fenton, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. A private gathering will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Lung Association. Kay was born February 13, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Alvin and Dorothy (Bradshaw) Hall. She received a bachelor degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree in accounting from Walsh College. Kay was an accountant for many years. She also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: two daughters, Susan Squiers-Frank and Stephen Frank of NJ, Cynthia and husband, Jean-Christophe Deniau of Fenton; cousin, Joyce Buck of WA; sister-in-law, Jean Hartmann; and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.
