Kelly Gene Thomas

THOMAS, Kelly Gene - age 65, of Flint, passed away March 2, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the World Outreach Center, 2275 N Irish Rd, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to World Outreach Center, 2275 N Irish Rd, Davison, MI 48423. Kelly was born January 29, 1960 in Flint, the son of Benjamin Cecil and June Joan (Haskell) Thomas, Jr. He worked in maintenance at a manufacturing plant for many years and recently enjoyed his job at Gilroy's Hardware. Kelly liked working on cars and recently restored a pickup truck. He also enjoyed working on go carts and mini bikes. Surviving are: two children, Kelly and Jessica Thomas; sister, Debbie (Jim "Zack") Zachery; brothers, Pat (Sue) Thomas, Vince (Dawn) Thomas, David Thomas, Bill (Gloria) Shatzer; two sisters-in-law, Polly Thomas and Deborah Thomas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Benjamin Cecil and June Joan (Haskell) Thomas, Jr.; sisters, Sheryl Conklin and Susan Pruett; brothers, John, Jerry, James and Thomas; sister-in-law, Debora Thomas; and brother-in-law, Gary Pruett.
