Kenneth James Davis, age 83, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, holding the hand of his best friend and loving wife, Millie and surrounded by family.
Born in Flint, Michigan, Ken lived a full and meaningful life devoted to faith, family, and hard work. Ken was a 1960 graduate from St. Agnes Catholic High School in Flint. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning a long and dedicated career at the General Motors V8 Engine Plant in Flint, from which he retired after many years of service.
Ken was united in marriage to the love of his life, Millie Davis, with whom he shared sixty-three wonderful years. Together they built a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
He is survived by his wife Millie, children, Brett Davis of Romulus, MI; Lori (Kurt) Foley of Fenton, MI; Brad (Rhonda) Davis of Holly, MI; and Lisa Davis of Mt. Morris, MI; along with grandchildren, Brad, Kristen, Philip, Grady, Hannah, Zach, Zoe; and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Dick, Mike, Pat, Mark, Debbie, and Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Sophie Davis.
Ken loved spending time outdoors, he enjoyed golfing, ice-fishing, pontoon cruising on the Runyan Lake, and spending time wintering in Punta Gorda, Florida. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino, where he found joy in a little fun and friendly luck. Above all, he treasured time spent with family and friends, whose love and laughter meant the world to him.
There will be a one hour showing at the church beginning at 10:00 AM with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland as celebrant. Private interment will take place in Tyrone Memory Gardens.
