LAWRENCE, Kenneth Floyd - Age 57, of Corunna formerly of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Rev. Paul M. Boerger officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12-3 and 5-9 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to 4-H. Ken was born February 16, 1957 in Flint, the son of Francis E. and Louise E. (Morgan) Lawrence. He was a 1975 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He married Janet Marie Thacker February 14, 1988 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Ken had been employed by Kettering University. He had resided in Corunna for the past 2 years coming from Swartz Creek. He was a supporter of 4-H. Surviving are his wife, Janet; sons, Kenneth Lee Lawrence of Davison and Kyle D. Lawrence of Ortonville; daughter, Michelle Manasco of Kalkaska; grandson, Brandon and wife Ashley Forman of Owosso; brothers, Keith and wife Robbie Lawrence of Swartz Creek and Ernest and wife Lois Lawrence of Kansas; sister, Sherrill Weisenberger of Owosso; mother-in-law, Vivian Thacker of Flint; sisters-in-law, Judy Thacker of Lake and Lori and husband Dale Norrington of Flint; brother-in-law, Bob and wife Sharon Thacker of Columbiaville; and several nieces and nephews.
