Kenneth Benjamin Stiles

STILES, Kenneth Benjamin- Age 82 , of Fenton, died March 27, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Fr. David Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Friday, and 10 - 11:30 AM Saturday. A Vigil service will be 7 PM Friday evening. Those desiring may make contributions to Caretel Inns of Linden, American Cancer Society, or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Kenneth was born August 8, 1930 in Southfield, MI, the son of Benjamin and Theresa (Maikrzyk) Smelewski. He was a graduate of Lawrence Technological University as an engineer. He was married to Dianne (Amorello) Smelewski on February 23, 2009. He worked Falcon Tool, and then served as Vice President of Ingersoll Cutting Tools. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed baseball and played until he was 56. He enjoyed fishing and boating. Surviving are: wife Dianne; children, Kenneth Smelewski of Tucson AZ, Robert (Brenda) Smelewski of Belleville, MI, Pamela Stiles of Leonard, MI; step-children, Neil (Valerie) Maison, Brad (Jill) Maison, Danielle (Jeff) Taylor, Greg Maison, Yvette (Kenneth) Augustine; brother, John (Jeanne) Smelewski of Linden; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
