Kevin Dale Bacon

Kevin Dale Bacon, age 50, of Burton, passed away on March 28, 2026. Born on June 11, 1975, in Flint, Michigan, he was the beloved son of Dale and Nancy (Mizell) Bacon.

Kevin was a man who never met a stranger. Known for being remarkably personable, he was a friend to everyone he encountered. He found his greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures and the beauty of the outdoors—whether he was playing a competitive game of cornhole, hitting the golf course, or casting a line while fishing. Many of his most cherished moments were spent at the family cabin on Avalon Lake in Hillman, surrounded by the family and friends who meant the most to him.

Kevin’s memory will be lovingly carried forward by his daughter, Lili Bacon (fiancé Zach); his mother, Nancy Bacon; and his siblings, Kim (Brian) Baxter, Kellie Olson, Kerrie (Gil) Humphreys, and Keith (Tanya) Bacon.

He was a proud and devoted uncle to his 11 nieces and nephews: Andrew (Heather), Nicholas (Alanna), Kaitlyn (Andres), Jimmy (Bailey), Jason (Hollie), Justin (Katie), Samantha, Amanda (Mike), Kayla, Daisy, and Azalea; and his 8 great-nieces and nephews: Mariah, Makenna, Sophia, Andres Jr., Tanner, Benson, Gwyneth, and Julia. He will be missed dearly by many other extended family members and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Dale Bacon.

In keeping with Kevin’s vibrant spirit, the family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date in lieu of a formal memorial service.
