Kevin S. Harlow

Harlow, Kevin S. – age 64 of Grand Blanc, formerly of Goodrich, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 8, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kevin was born on January 22, 1961 in Carson City, Michigan to Duane and Louise (Martyn) Harlow. He graduated from Fulton High School (1979), Ferris State University (1983) and later obtained his MBA from the University of Michigan. Kevin married his college sweetheart, Susan Nylander, in 1984 in Goodrich, Michigan.

Kevin was raised on the family farm where he learned the skills to fix anything. He enjoyed bicycling, sailing, woodworking, and he cherished vacations with extended family. Family was his top priority and he never missed a game, meet, or concert for his children. He spent summers at the family cottage in Northern Michigan, and in recent years he enjoyed winters in the Florida sunshine. He was a longtime member of Goodrich United Methodist Church, serving in many capacities. He was a former member of the Goodrich Lions Club and former President of the Goodrich Soccer Club.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan; his children, Stephen (Tori) and Sarah (Blake) Harlow; and his grandchildren, Owen and Emerie. He is also survived by mother, Louise Harlow; sister, Kim Harlow; mother-in-law, Phyllis Nylander; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Joe) Shucofsky and Karin (Shawn) Smith; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Duane, brother Chris, and father-in-law Ken Nylander.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Goodrich United Methodist Church with Pastor Nick Berlanga officiating. Memorial visitation will be offered at the church from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
