Kevin Lee Tinker

TINKER - Kevin Lee, age 70 of Burton, passed away peacefully, though unexpectedly, at home on November 22, 2023.  Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kevin to the Alliance of the Great Lakes (www.greatlakes.org).

Kevin was born on December 9, 1952 in Holly, Michigan to Robert Keith and Jeanette Irene (Kirton) Tinker.  He served our country with the United States Army and retired from General Motors after working 33 years as an engine tester.  Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with his family and he cherished time spent with his furry companion, Buddy, as he followed Kevin everywhere and rode in his hot rod and gator.

He is survived by his children, Shaun (Lisa) Tinker of Flushing; and Jodi (Tony) Cronkright of Davison.  Grandchildren, Kayde (John) Richardson; Aleea Tinker; Dylan Cronkright; Veronica Tinker; and Lucas Tinker.  Great-granddaughter, Abigail.  Mother, Jeanette Tinker of St. Helen.  Siblings, Teena Turner; Tracie Paquet; Todd (Lisa) Tinker; and Scott (Sheila) Tinker.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and his faithful furry friend, Buddy.  Mr.Tinker was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
